Founded by Richard Harrison and Alex Lea in Jan 2023 as a Bullhorn Partner, our vision is to transform staffing and executive search operations with our complete candidate experience platform and automation as a service, both designed and built to work seamlessly with Bullhorn products. With our extensive industry experience and network, we are ideally positioned to provide innovative digital solutions to Bullhorn customers, across their product portfolio.
Exenai is a privately owned limited company based in the United Kingdom, serving a global customer base.
The name Exenai originates from the combination of experience, engagement and ai.
AI represents both Artificial Intelligence and Automation & Integration.

Our core vision is to reimagine the candidate experience, through more relevant engagements supported by better data, whilst reducing the cost of candidate acquisition and driving higher utilisation of known candidates.
We are also dedicated to combining our deep industry and software technology expertise to deliver managed automations, integrating core systems and best of breed solutions, to increase operational efficiencies and maximise return on investment.

Richard Harrison
CEO & co-founder
Experienced in executive leadership for technology led business, with 30 years with in the staffing and executive search industry. Founder of venture backed business Invenias, acquired by Bullhorn in 2018.
Former SVP Product & post acquisition integration Lead/GM for Bullhorn. NED & former COO of Toca.io, investor backed low-code automation & development platform, and investor in sustainable technology.
Alex Lea
CTO & co-founder
Experienced in software engineering leadership and product development within the staffing and executive search industry, Alex holds a Bsc(Hons) in Computing from Plymouth University.
Formerly Engineering Leader for Bullhorn and Invenias, Alex was responsible for a number of core Bullhorn product lines post acquisition.
